Sil-ProDave Pool is the Vice President of Engineering at Sil-Pro (Medical Manufacturing Solutions), which converts and assembles both thermoplastic and silicone polymers for the medical device industry. In this role, he oversees the project engineering, automation engineering, and tooling groups for the company. Dave has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience in the thermoplastic industry, beginning in tooling and working with engineering-grade polymers for the medical device industry as well as for the automotive and semiconductor industries.

Nelson LaboratoriesJerry R. Nelson, Laboratory Director at Nelson Laboratories, has a PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of Utah. He is a member of numerous standards-writing committees and associations, including the New York Academy of Sciences, American Society for Quality, Parenteral Drug Association, American Society of Testing and Materials, Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and the American Society for Microbiology. In addition to having published dozens of articles, he is also an adjunct professor of bioengineering at the University of Utah and an adjunct assistant professor of microbiology at Brigham Young University. Jerry was named by MPMN's sister publication, MD+DI, as one of the Top 100 Notable Individuals in the medical device industry. 
Nadine Blaesing

Dymax Corp.Nadine Blaesing is the market segment manager, Europe, for Dymax. She has more than 12 years of experience selling adhesives and providing technical assistance to the medical device market. Although she began her career as an applications engineer in Europe, and later in the United States, Blaesing eventually transitioned into marketing while keeping her focus on the medical device industry. Dymax specializes in the manufacture of light-curable adhesives, cyanoacrylates, epoxies, light-emitting curing equipment, and dispensing systems. 
Tom Muccino
Business Development Manager
EFD Inc.Tom Muccino is a Business Development Manager for EFD Inc. (East Providence, RI), a company specializing in precision dispensing systems for applying controlled amounts of adhesives, sealants, lubricants, and other assembly fluids. Tom works closely with manufacturers’ engineering and R&D departments to assist in developing dispensing processes for their next-generation products. In his 21 years at EFD, Tom has served as National Sales Manager, Product Line Manager, and Global Business Development Manager. He has provided application assistance and training seminars at Fortune 500 companies, and delivered numerous presentations on proper equipment selection and fluid-dispensing techniques.
